FRED Patterson, of Gladstone Street, Darlington, has pleaded guilty to producing four cannabis plants. Magistrates in Newton Aycliffe heard the 46-year-old had grown the class B drug for his own use. Patterson was fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
