A NORTH-EAST company is inviting people to take a leap for charity.
Skydive St George, which is based at Durham Tees Valley Airport, is offering fundraisers the chance to take to the skies.
The company – one of the fastest growing skydiving centres in the country – works with a number of charities who will cover the cost of a skydive in exchange for sponsorship money.
A skydive in aid of North-East charity RAID, which works to raise sexual health awareness in young people, will take place on Sunday, August 3.
A sponsored tandem skydive will take place in early September to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance (GNAA).
Anyone interested in skydiving for the GNAA must pay a deposit of £50 and raise a minimum of £250 for charity.
For more information, call 01325 337929 or email info@skydivestgeorge.co.uk.
Skydiving sessions are weather dependent, suitable for over-16s and anyone over 40 will need to provide a declaration of fitness form.
