A SECOND arrest has been made in connection with an alleged attack in Port Clarence which left a man with injuries believed to have been caused by a Samurai sword. A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. The incident happened on Meadowdale Road, between 8pm and 8.30pm on Saturday, July 12. A 23-year-old man appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 17, charged with Section 18 wounding and affray. Any witnesses or anyone with further information relating to the incident is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Debbie Fenny on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
