A MAN accused of murdering a barber admitted killing him when he appeared in court today.
Craig Conway pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter, but denied murdering Simon Bennett in May.
A trial at Teesside Crown Court was set for November 3, and Mr Conway, 30, was remanded in custody.
It is thought Mr Bennett died from a single stab wound following an incident in Middlesbrough on May 9.
The 28-year-old was found with serious injuries at The Greenway, Thorntree, and was taken to hospital.
He was later pronounced dead, and Mr Conway, of Berwick Hills Avenue, Brambles Farm, Middlesbrough, was arrested.
