MEMBERS of a youth theatre group have been showcasing their acting talent by performing street theatre across Darlington.

The children of Identity performed sketches and scene that they devised for the Sunday People’s Market and The Darlington Community Carnival.

The performance involved everything from magic carpets to mask, silent movies to a modern Romeo and Juliet at a football match.

Group director Jo Ebberley said: “I have been so proud of all the performers taking part in this Street Theatre. It’s exciting to take their work outside and all the members have relished the opportunity to develop a different style of more physical theatre.”

Identity will be at Big Biff's fun run, in South Park, on August 3.

Identity Youth Theatre is for children and young people ages from 4 to 18, new members are always welcome.
