POLICE are appealing for information after two men were disturbed taking items from an insecure vehicle on Telford Drive, in Darlington, at about 1.30am on July 7.

The suspects are believed to have made their way onto Brunel Way and along Hundens Lane.

Two local males aged 18yrs and 15yrs have been arrested and have later been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A pair of mens sunglasses and an in-car phone charger are still unaccounted for.

Any witnesses who may have seen the incident occur or have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time are asked to come forward.

Police have also reminded people to keep their vehicles and property secure and to keep any valuables out of sight.
