A CAR ended up overturned in a hedge this morning (Thursday July 3), 20ft from the carriageway. Two fire engines from Barnard Castle and Middleton-in-Teesdale were called to the A66, near Bowes, shortly after 9am. An ambulance was also in attendance but it is thought nobody was injured.
