NORTH Yorkshire County Councillor Helen Grant has been appointed a director of Just the Job, a Richmond-based charity supporting people with special work needs.
The 60-year-old, member for the Catterick Garrison parishes of Colburn, Hipswell and Scotton, is a long-time supporter of the charity.
She said: “Just the Job is exactly what’s needed to give special young people an opportunity to work in, interact with, and contribute to the wider community.
"More and more people are supporting Just the Job by using its hardworking teams for gardening, logging and a variety of small projects. This organisation is going places and I am proud and delighted to have joined the board."
