BRITAIN’S longest running Music Hall Show is coming to the region next month.
Duggie Chapman's This Is Music Hall is the biggest variety show on tour and will play at Darlington Civic Theatre over two performances on Wednesday July 23.
The show stars the King of Music Hall Roy Hudd, who makes a rare northern appearance, with supporting star, sixties icon Jess Conrad.
Mr Conrad is is famous for his hit records and starring in the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
He was the first to tour the provinces for many years as Joseph.
West End singing star Maggie O'Hara will be on stage to sing the old melodies along with Andy Eastwood who is voted as Britain's best ukulele player.
Comedy musical act Pete Lindup plays an impressive 12 instruments, and there is more variety from the Blackpool Tower Circus with Van Buren, an outstanding young juggler.
Renowned Music Hall Chairman, Duggie Chapman will host the show which promises to leave audiences with damp-eyed nostalgia and sentimental glow.
