TOP veteran fencers from across the North-East have returned from a national tournament in Milton Keynes with winners’ medals.
Champion Beth Davidson from Darlington competed in the mixed sabre event and held on to her gold medal for the second year running.
Carole Seheult and Anton Pollard from Durham also secured their World Championship qualification, with Ms Seheult coming away with silver and Mr Pollard winning bronze.
The event, the British Veteran Fencing National Age Group tournament, played over two days and saw fencers compete in four age categories ranging from 40 to the over 70s.
