THOUSANDS of pounds worth of drugs have been seized by police in Middlesbrough.
This morning officers recovered £6,000 worth of suspected Class A crack cocaine from an address on Roman Road.
Detective Inspector Christian Ellis said: “The action that we have taken today has been a result of community intelligence.
“Hopefully this demonstrates that it is being acted upon and as a result drugs are being removed from the streets of Cleveland.”
Two men aged 34 and 48 have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and remain in police custody.
Detective Inspector Ellis added: “We would like to thank those members of the public that do come forward with information.”
