POLICE in Darlington are appealing for information after thousands of pounds worth of tools and a motorbike were stolen.
They were taken from the Alliance Industrial Estate, Dodsworth Street, between 3pm and midnight on Monday, May, 19.
The items stolen included a silver Mig welder, a child’s off-road motorcycle, a red metal tool box containing sockets and spanners and a red industrial 24v car battery starter.
They had a combined total of more than £2,500 and PC Jim Edwards, from Darlington beat team, said: “Given the quantity of tools taken we believe several people and a vehicle must have been used.
“Anyone who witnessed this burglary or has information where these tools may be located, please contact us immediately on 101.”
