DIVERSIONS have been announced as work to replace a congested roundabout continues.
The southern part of the Stonebridge roundabout in Darlington will be closed until Sunday, June 1.
Traffic travelling from Parkgate to Stonebridge will have to first turn left before returning via Feethams roundabout.
From Monday, June 2, the northern part of the roundabout will be closed with traffic having to turn left and travel to Freemans Place roundabout before returning along the ring road to Parkgate.
This will be the same for any vehicle travelling from Feethams roundabout turning right onto Parkgate.
Road users can keep informed of current and upcoming traffic management arrangements at darlington.gov.uk/Stonebridge.
