THE following events are taking place in Darlington this week as part of Darlington Arts Festival.
TUESDAY (May 26)
Arts future: The future of the arts in Darlington will be debated at The Forum, in Borough Road, from 6.30pm. Peter Barron, editor of The Northern Echo, will chair the debate and entry is free.

WEDNESDAY (May 28)

Open mic: Open mic night for authors at Voodoo Cafe, Skinnergate, from 7pm. Tickets are £3 on the door.
FRIDAY (May 30)
Blues guitarist: Russ Tippins Electric Band at The Forum, Borough Road, from 8pm. Tickets are £8.
SATURDAY (May 31)
Anthology launch: The launch of Darlington Literary Festival Anthology 2013 at Voodoo Cafe, Skinnergate, from noon to 2pm. Free entry.
Tribute band: Pink Floyd tribute band, Shine On, will perform at The Forum, Borough Road, from 8pm. Tickets are £10.
