POLICE are investigating a burglary at a rural Teesdale farm shop.
Two men forced entry into Cross Lanes Organic Farm Shop and Cafe, which is located on the A66, near Barnard Castle, through some doors at the back of the property.
They stole an unconfirmed quantity of cash from the premises.
The incident occurred sometime between Sunday night and the early hours of Monday morning.
CCTV footage shows one of the men was wearing a light-coloured hooded coat and a light-coloured cap.
The Barnard Castle Neighbourhood Police Team appealed to anyone with information about the burglary, or the assailants who committed the crime, to come forward.
