A TEENAGER has admitted attacking a man and stealing his mobile phone.
Liam Keates is alleged to have kicked and stamped on the victim, who was unknown to him at the time.
The 18-year-old, of Micklow Close, Redcar, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm and theft on April 16 this year.
Judge Peter Armstrong allowed him bail at Teesside Crown Court. Keates is subject to a 10pm to 7am curfew at his home and cannot reside elsewhere or contact the complainant.
Judge Armstrong adjourned the case until June 11 for sentence and said all sentencing options remained open.
