POLICE are investigating an accident at a roundabout in which the driver of a BMW died.
The serious collision happened at the roundabout which connects the A61 Harrogate to Leeds Road with the A658, near Kirkby Overblow.
No other vehicles involved in the accident, which happened at about 4.10pm on Saturday (May 17).
The driver of the silver BMW 1 series, which was travelling from the Knaresborough direction along the A658, left the road as it negotiated the roundabout and came to rest in a hedge. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was aged in his fifties and from Leeds.
