EVERYONE attending Middlesbrough Council AGM was evicted from the meeting tonight after a member of the public refused to stop filming proceedings.
Councillor Bob Kerr, who had only been appointed council chairman five minutes earlier, evicted everyone from the town hall council chamber at 7.10pm and told them to go outside after police officers were unable to persuade the man to comply.
About 100 councillors, staff and press were sent outside.
At 7.40pm everyone, except the man filming, were allowed back into the chamber and the meeting continued.
