VINTAGE vehicles will evoke memories from a bygone era as an annual rally rolls into the region.
The Vintage Vehicle Rally at Darlington’s Head of Steam Museum will be held on Sunday, May 18 from 11am to 3pm.
It will be a chance to get up close and personal with dozens of rare and quirky vintage cars, buses, military vehicles and vans from across the North-East and Yorkshire.
Vintage style market stalls will also be on offer, as well as a mini train ride, arts and crafts and juggling and balloon making.
Admission to the outdoor event, which is held in the museum’s event field, is £1 and also includes entry into the museum.
Councillor Nick Wallis, Darlington Borough Council’s cabinet member for leisure and local environment, said: “This event never fails to delight the crowds who come from far and wide to see the range of vehicles on show.
“The low admission fee also includes entrance to the museum making it a brilliant value for money day out.”
