BREAKDANCERS will join a respected performer to bring shame to Darlington this month.

Well-known spoken word performer John Berkavitch and a crew of innovative dancers will explore the feeling of shame as part of The Jabberwocky Market, a festival of theatre taking place in the town between Thursday, May 15 and Sunday, May 18.

Shame will be performed at Darlington Civic Theatre on Friday, May 16 from 2pm and on Saturday, May 17 from 7.30pm.

Tickets, costing £7 or £9, are available from jabberwockymarket.org.uk or by calling 01325-486555.

Shift-workers can buy one ticket and get one free for the Friday performance.
