A STOCK car enthusiast is calling on like-minded individuals to help him compile a database about the history of the hobby.
Derek Smith, from Essex, collects stock car programmes and magazines.
He is keen to hear from fellow racegoers, particularly those who have attended meetings in the North-East.
He said: “I need to hear from people in the region who have got programmes, with results in, covering tracks at Brough Park, in Newcastle, Newton Aycliffe, Hartepool and Barford Raceway, in Streatlam, near Barnard Castle.
“Any information at all will be very gratefully received.”
