RECENT cases heard at Northallerton Magistrates’ Court include:
Karen Marie Alley, 32, of Hambleton Avenue, Thirsk, who admitted to avoiding paying part of a rail fare. She was fined £70, with compensation of £5.30, a £20 victim surcharge and £80 costs.
Daniel Paul Cooke, 36, of Main Street, Leavening, Malton, admitted to exceeding the speed limit in Scarborough. He was fined £135, and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
Lee Adam Haslam, 28, of Sowerby Crescent, Stokesley, was proved guilty in his absence of exceeding the speed limit in Great Ayton. He was fined £200, with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Ian James Hepworth, 43, of Eastgate, Pickering, admitted to driving above the speed limit. He was fined £110, with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Hilary Lesley Wintersgill, 61, of Forest Road, Northallerton, admitted to driving without due care and attention. She was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
