THE next meeting of Mowden Park Townswomen’s Guild will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, May 7 at Mowden Infant School, Bushell Hill Drive, Darlington, where Joyce Crawford will give a talk called ‘My life in rhyme’.

Admission is £3 and includes refreshments. The guild is keen to recruit new members and visitors are welcome.

POLICE MEET: A Police and Communities Together (Pact) meeting for Hurworth will be held at 6.30pm tomorrow (Thursday, April 24) at Hurworth Methodist Church Hall. All residents in the parish of Hurworth are welcome.

CRAFT AFTERNOON: A drop-in craft afternoon will be held at Scrap Studioarts, in Borough Road Nursery School, in Darlington, tomorrow (Thursday, April 24) from 1pm to 3pm. Entry is £5. For more information visit yvonnepreston.com or call 07727-706-335.
