A CONFERENCE to help improve services for families of children and young people with disabilities is being held in Middlesbrough next month.

The Parents 4 Change Conference at the Riverside Stadium is organised by parents for parents and takes place on Friday, May 2.

The initiative is a parents and carers participation group which promotes the welfare of children and young people aged from birth to 25 with disabilities or additional needs.

Next month’s conference will be an opportunity for families to exchange views and experiences and join forces in influencing changes and improvements to services.

The conference runs from 9.30am to 2.30pm in The Riverside Suite at Middlesbrough Football Club.

For more information or to book a place call the Children with Disabilities Team on 01642-579176.
