A WEEKEND of family activities has been lined up to celebrate Easter in Darlington.
An Easter egg trail will be taking place between 11am and 4pm on Easter Saturday around the town centre, with entry forms available from Distinct Darlington’s Ranger team who will be stationed at Joseph Pease Monument.
Participants will be entertained by face painters and local dance groups while they are hunting for the eggs which have been donated by schools and community organisations.
The trail will end at Queen Street Shopping Centre where all entrants will receive a chocolate surprise – along with the chance to win a massive 1kg Thorntons Easter Egg, donated by Darlington Markets.
Both the Cornmill Centre and Queen Street Shopping Centres will also have balloon modelling and face painters on site, along with chocolate giveaways.
