Hambleton residents are being encouraged to discover the benefits of walking during a series of free, short walks festival organised by Hambleton Strollers in the district between May 3 and 10. On Tuesday, May 6 there will be three walks in the district; from Great Ayton Discovery Centre at 10am and from Mayford House Surgery in Northallerton and the Galtres Centre in Easingwold from 10.15am. CRIME SURGERIES: North Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Julia Mulligan will be holding surgeries in the offices of Stokesley and District Community Care Association on Town Close, off North Road in Stokesley between 2pm and 4.30pm on April 17.
