PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION: Bexter’s Tea Room, based on College Square, Stokesley will be holding an exhibition of landscape photography by landscape photographer Paul Hunter on Saturday, May 3 from 6.30pm. The display will also include photographs of the local area.

ART DISPLAY: Members of Yoredale Art Club will be holding an annual display of their work in Leyburn Methodist hall from Friday, May 2 until Monday, May 5. The exhibition will be open daily from 10am until 5pm, and from noon until 5pm on Sunday. Every day there will be a raffle for an original painting and greetings cards will be on sale.

ART CLASSES: Watercolour painting classes will be held in Great Broughton Village Hall on Mondays, from 10am until 12.30pm or 1.30pm until 4.30pm. The three-week sessions will be led by Mike Draper and start on April 28, with another course starting July 7. The cost for sessions will be £15. A four-week course will be led by Paul Dillon, from June 9, costing £20.
