AN exhibition of artwork created by textile artists and students went on display at Lingfield Point, Darlington, over the weekend.

The exhibition was complemented by workshops in printing, patchworking, felting, tapestry and weaving by textile artists Sarah Oatley, Jane Riley and Becky Sunter.

Dozens of people attended the open day, at the Bobbin Shed 21 in Lingfield Point, to try their hand at various needlework techniques and learn more about the and courses and workshops on offer at the venue.
