TWO designer stores will showcase the season’s new trends at one of the region’s largest society events next month.
Woven, of Durham City, and Designer Fit of Woolsington, Newcastle, will send models down the runway at the annual Lobster Charity Ball, at Hardwick Hall Hotel, near Sedgefield, on Friday, May 2.
The show will feature stylish and glamorous clothing for men and women, including 1920s tailoring, florals, jumpsuits and body con dresses.
John Adamson, managing director of Ramside Estates, said; “The fashion show adds a unique element to the event and it’s great to work alongside two prominent fashion stores.”
The ball, which will raise money for the Stockton-based autism charity Daisy Chain, will also feature a lobster surf and turf dinner and live entertainment from musicians and comedians, including 1980s new wave sensations ABC.
Tickets cost £140 plus VAT per person.
