Police are at the scene
THE A19 northbound is closed between Northallerton and Thirsk in North Yorkshire following a serious crash.
It is believed the crash took place just after 4pm on the stretch of the road between the junctions for Borrowby and Ellerbeck, near Osmotherley, but it is not known how many vehicles are involved or if there are any injuries.
All three emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently closed.
