The stolen saddle
POLICE are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a stolen saddle.
The item was taken during a burglary at stables in Staindrop, County Durham, some time between Friday, March 21 and Friday, April 4.
A petrol strimmer was also stolen.
Anyone with information about the incident, or the whereabouts of the stolen goods, should call Barnard Castle Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
WEDDING FAIR: A wedding fair takes place at The Witham, in Barnard Castle, on Saturday, from noon to 4pm. Free entry.
CAFÉ REOPENS: The newly refurbished café at Hamsterley Forest, in County Durham, reopens on Saturday. The establishment will be open daily, from 10am to 5pm, until Sunday, November 2.
