FIRE AND RESCUE FEEDBACK: North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue is currently reviewing its fire cover in the county to see if it needs to change the number and location of fire engines and stations and the way both are crewed. Members of the organisation are meeting with the public at various venues in North Yorkshire during April to get feedback on its cover. They will be at Richmond Library on Thursday, April 17, between 3pm and 5pm and in Harrogate on Friday, April 25, at Harrogate Hydro between 9.30am and midday and Harrogate Library form 1pm until 3pm. People can also fill in an online feedback survey on;

MALE VOICE CHOIRS: The Dalesmen Singers from Danby are to join forces with the Steeton Male Voice Choir for a night of music and song at St Hilda’s Church on West Cliff, Whitby at 7pm on Saturday, May 3. The Steeton choir, based between Skipton and Keighley, formed in 1908 and has 75 members. All proceeds will go towards the Friends of Whitby Lifeboat. For more information, visit the website;
