COFFEE MORNING: Hurworth Methodist Church will host a coffee morning on Saturday, April 12, between 10am and 11am. Admission is £1 to include coffee and biscuits. Proceeds to will go to support church funds.

PEACE TALKS: Bruce Kent, from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, will give a talk at the Friends’ Meeting House, in Skinnergate, in Darlington, on Wednesday, April 23, at 7pm. Entry is free, with light refreshments available.

QUARTET EVENING: The Mark Williams Quartet will make a second appearance at the Opus 4 Jazz Club at the Travellers Rest, in Cockerton, Darlington, on Friday, April 11. Doors open at 8pm, entry is £6 on the door. Call 01325-382676 for more details.

FEEDING SUPPORT: Specialist advice and support on breast feeding is available for mothers at the Dolphin Centre on Thursday, April 10, between 9.30am and 11.30pm. Entry is free.

EASTER FUN: Red Hall Community Centre will host a session of Easter activities, including junk art, cake making and wildlife activities, on Thursday, April 10, between 10am and 11.30am. Places must be arranged in advance by calling 01325-406032.
