Village Show: the Burneston and Carthorpe annual show will be held at Burneston School on Saturday, July 19. Entries are invited, contact the school on 01677 423183.
Running Club: Bedale and Aiskew running club meets at the Sports Association in Leyburn road on Wednesdays at 6.30pm for anyone over 18 who is interested in running socially or competitively. For details and to enrol call Richard Woods on 07736-274768.
