House builder Dunelm Homes is supporting foodbanks across the region by collecting Easter eggs at its County Durham developments.

The company is encouraging visitors to its developments in Ingleby Barwick, Stanley, Langley Moor, Darlington, Shildon, Spennymoor and Stockton to donate a chocolate Easter egg which will then be passed on local Trussell Trust Food Banks.

STAR GAZING: The Cleveland and Darlington Astronomical Society is meeting at Wynyard Planetarium, Stockton-on-Tees, on Friday.

There will be a talk by Dr Johanna Jarvis titled Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star, followed by a question and answer session.

It starts at 7pm and admission is £1.50 for adults.
