THE Quakers are celebrating their planned return to Darlington with a fundraising dinner dance.

The black tie event will take place at their proposed new home at Blackwell Meadows, Darlington, in a giant marquee on Friday, May 16 from 7.30pm.

It will feature live music, dancing, a three-course meal and a live auction.

Dave Mills, the club’s community and fans liaison manager, said: “The club has come a very long way in less than two years and we are all excited to be returning home as soon as practicable.

“The support we have received from our existing corporate partners, sponsors, match sponsors and supporters is fantastic.

“Now is the time for the whole of the business community of Darlington and surrounding areas to join with us as we celebrate the success of the last two years and look forward to further successes both on and off the pitch, as we return to Darlington and continue to progress up the leagues.”

Bookings can now be made, with early booking recommended.

Tables for ten people cost £350 plus vat, with all proceeds going to the club.
