STORE staff in Northallerton will be urging people to dig deep in their pockets – for a local hospital appeal.

MARKS and Spencer has chosen the Friarage Hospital’s MRI scanner appeal as their charity partner of the year.

Enthusiastic staff are planning a series of fundraising events including bucket collections, cake stalls, car boot sales and will also be taking part in events such as runs and other personal challenges as part of their campaign.

The Friarage Hospital scanner appeal was the overwhelming favourite chosen by the store’s staff and they are hoping to raise £2,000 over the next year.
