Enchanted evening awaits for charity fundraisers as Great North Air Ambulance Service set to benefit

AN enchanted evening awaits guests at a ball held to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance.
The Enchanted Forest Ball will be the first event to take place in the new Grand Marquee at Wynyard Hall, near Billingham.
The structure, set in its own landscaped gardens, can house up to 700 guests and will host large weddings, concerts and conferences.
First up will be the Great North Air Ambulance Service’s (GNAAS) annual summer fundraiser, which organisers hope will be the charity’s biggest and most successful to date.
Ruth Davey, of GNAAS, said: “We are putting the finishing touches to the line-up and we are confident this is going to be our best event yet.
“Tickets have just gone on sale but we’ve already sold nearly 200. This is an incredible response, it just shows how important the air ambulance is to the region.”
The ball takes place on Saturday, May 10, from 6pm, and will be hosted by Tyne Tees news anchor Pam Royle, GNAAS patron.
Tickets are £60 which includes drinks on reception, three course dinner, live entertainment and more. There will be a luxury raffle, auction of exclusive prizes and surprise entertainment on the night. Tickets can be bought individually or in tables of ten.
All of the money raised will go to support GNAAS’ three air ambulances, which last year flew nearly 1,000 missions.
