MIDDLETON Tyas Church of England Primary School is holding a workshop for anyone involved in a parent teacher association on Tuesday, April 1.
The event will focus on how PTAs can maximise fundraising opportunities, and effectively promote themselves and work with local businesses.
It will give hints and tips on running a successful PTA, including legal considerations, and discuss how to increase parental support and involvement.
The workshop is open to all members of a PTA from any school in the area. It is being run by the charity PTA-UK, which represents around 13,600 individual PTAs across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The workshop is at Middleton Tyas Primary School, Kneeton Lane, DL10 6SF, at 6.45pm to 9pm.
