BRIDES and grooms-to-be are invited to a wedding show in Barnard Castle.

The event, which includes 40 regional wedding suppliers, takes place at The Bowes Museum, on Sunday, from 10.30am to 4pm.

Entry is free.

JOINTS WORKSHOP: A limited number of places are available on an Alexander Technique Workshop, run by Gail Barlow, for people with back, neck, joint or stress problems, at St Mary’s Parish Hall, in Barnard Castle, on Saturday. The workshop costs £30. To book, call 01748-823323.

COMEDY NIGHT: Comedian Matt Richardson brings his Hometown Hero gig to The Witham, in Barnard Castle, on Saturday, at 8pm, supported by Tony Jameson. Tickets cost £10 in advance or £12 at the door. GALLERY TALK: Bowes Museum curator Greville Worthington delivers an introduction to Gavin Turk’s exhibition Seven Billion Two Hundred and One Million Nine Hundred and Sixty-Four Thousand and Two Hundred and Thirty-Eight, at the museum, in Barnard Castle, on Saturday, at 1pm.
