A FILM producer is hoping his latest project will transport him from North Yorkshire to the dizzy heights of Hollywood.

Jonathan Stretton-Downes, a former Northallerton College pupil from Langthorne, near Bedale, is working on a Lance Nielson film The Journey, and hopes to use crowd funding to boost the project.

The script, written by Mr Nielson and based on his own experiences, tells the stories of three men as they come to terms with loss while travelling to Greece, and follows their journey to recovery.
