Lashing out at a car in a temper cost a man £60 in court.

Ashley Kelly, 21, of Minors Crescent, Darlington, admitted criminal damage when he appeared before Darlington Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, March 11).

The court heard that Kelly had been arguing with his girlfriend on December 7 when he struck a parked Vauxhall Corsa and caused £60 worth of damage.

He was ordered to pay £60 in compensation to the car’s owner.
