A TRIO of classic punk and new wave bands will join Bob Marley's band in performing at a four-day music festival.
North Yorkshire’s Willowman Festival, at Hillside Rural Activities Park, in Knayton, near Thirsk, will feature the Wailers alongside the Blockheads, Ruts DC, Tenpole Tudor and Eddie and the Hot Rods.
The festival, which will be held from June 19 to 22, has gained a reputation for offering an eclectic line up of both new and established artists.
A festival spokesman said: "Punk, new wave and reggae fans have long enjoyed an affinity dating back to the late 70s.
"In recognition of this, Bob Marley penned the classic Punky Reggae Party, which name-checked classic punk bands of the time, including The Clash and The Damned."
Other acts include former Icicle Works frontman Ian McNabb and Red Dwarf actor Craig Charles, who will perform his funk and soul show.
