A WEEK-LONG pilot project to help people make sure they are claiming the correct benefits is set to take place in Hemlington and Coulby Newham.

The scheme will take place in venues around the south Middlesbrough wards from Monday, March 17 to Friday, March 21.

Throughout the week staff and advisors from various partner agencies will be stationed in Hemlington and Coulby Newham locations under the “It’s Your Right to Claim” banner to assist members of the public.

A benefits advice hotline number has also been set up. For any queries call 01642-802303.
