A TOYOTA dealership has donated almost £2,000 to help set up a community garden in a Darlington park.

RMB Toyota, in McMullen Road, has donated £1,800 to the Friends of North Lodge Park.

The group plans to use the donation to create a community garden where local residents can grow fruits and vegetables.

Sales manager Richard Gordon, from the dealership, presented a cheque to Marjorie Murphy, from the friends, on Thursday (March 6).
