Reward offered for return of woman's handbag

Darlington and Stockton Times: Anyone with information should contact the police Anyone with information should contact the police

A REWARD is being offered for the return of a woman’s handbag and its contents.

In a rush to catch her bus, Kaye Whittaker left her handbag at a bus stop on Darlington’s Tubwell Row yesterday (Tuesday March 4).

Ms Whittaker is now appealing for the return of her bag, which contained important keys, cash and other items.

She said:  "Losing my bag is going to cost me hundreds and my insurance doesn't cover certain things.

"I'm willing to offer a small reward to get my bag back."

The navy blue Tula bag was left at the bus stop outside Darlington Building Society at around 5.20pm.

Anyone with information about the bag can contact Darlington Police on non-emergency number 101.

Wow... I'm amazed at your attitude! Whoever picked it up should have handed it in! The handbag didn't belong to them, they knew it wasn't theirs and that someone had obviously lost it. No more than a common thief in my book

At the end of the day decent people with ' moral fibre and guts and backbone' will hand the poor woman's bag in in, on the other hand 'thieving cowardly scumbag(s)'. will take out any money and/or anything of value and either dump the bag in bushes or a trash bin. There is an 'offenc'e in British criminal law of course by 'Stealing (Thieving) by Finding' which should be common sense, even if you have an IQ ..........,rated lower than a 'Pea'.
