RECENT cases heard at Northallerton Magistrates’ Court include:

Caroline Macolm, 28, of Swinburn Road, Masham, admitted to driving a car that was unlicensed. She was fined £35, ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £18.75, and costs of £90.

Steven Russell, 36, of Plumer Road, Catterick Garrison, admitted to assault by beating. He was fined £300 or ordered to pay compensation of £200, with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

COLOURFUL CAMOUFLAGE: The Green Howards Museum team will be hosting an activity session at Richmond Library on Thursday, March 13 at 3.45pm until 4.30pm.

Children can attend to find out about the colourful world of camouflage, get their face painted and make their own camouflage helmet.
