AN air pistol, mountain bikes and garden equipment were stolen from a garage yesterday (Monday February 24).

Police believe a vehicle was used to steal property from an insecure garage in Piercebridge, near Darlington.

The items – including a Crosman air pistol, two mountain bikes and several items of petrol driven garden equipment - were taken at some point between 11am and 1pm on Monday February 24.

Anyone with information about the theft or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact PC 493 Latcham or PC 2496 Walker at Darlington Priority Crime Team on non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
