If the owners of the four legged poo machines were more responsible the area would be served better? But i am afraid the PCSO's could be put to better use than counting crap?

Great choice of words - "congregations of youths". Here's how it works nowadays. Council planners allow greedy developers to build housing with inadequate leisure space ie parks, playing fields. Groups of kids go out to meet their friends. Fuelled by the ASBO industry, intolerant people see a group of kids meeting outside as an antisocial rabble. Outcome - we spend large amounts of tax money funding PCSOs to chase our children around the streets and criminalise a whole generation. Cause & effect. It's a shame we don't have a joined up system where Boss Hogg our PCC can look at crime and the causes of crime and speak to all relevant parties so that we don't end up failing our kids. Come on Ron, look at the bigger picture.

Have to agree with the above comments, but as a dog owner I have to defend the responsible amongst us ..Must take issue with the use of the phrase "audit discovers..." as the word "discover" means to uncover or find something that was hidden or unknown. none of these problems were unknown to the people of the town.

They probably meant the trod in it, You can also defend responsible dog owners all you want BUT you cant get away from the fact that those of them that DO NOT CLEAN UP THE CRAP need their noses rubbing in it!
