YOUNG drama students are being offered the chance to tread the boards alongside an experienced production cast.
Darlington Civic Theatre’s youth theatre and dance group, ArtsSpark, is offering youngsters aged eight and over the chance to take part in a half-term music hall and variety workshop.
It will take place at St Cuthbert’s Church Centre on Monday (February 17) afternoon.
Participants will have the chance to join a matinee performance of Good Old Days of Music Hall and Variety the following day.
Working with youth theatre leader Beth Stobbart, fresh from playing the princess in pantomime, and dance leader Debbie Waistell, they will be involved in a workshop to create a song and dance routine.
The show stars Stu Francis, of Basil Brush and Crackerjack fame, backed by a full supporting company of singers and a live band.
